Target Mall
Borivali (W), Mumbai
Project Overview
Target Mall is a prominent commercial development located in Borivali (West), Mumbai, spanning approximately 120,000 sq. ft. with G+5 floors and two basement levels. Executed by G Construction for builder Mahendra Jamnadas Kara, with RCC consultancy by Harshad Gokani, the project commenced in June 2011 and was successfully completed in June 2014. Designed as a modern retail and business hub, the development integrates strong RCC structural systems with efficient layouts to support high footfall and long-term durability.
The scope of work involved end-to-end RCC structural execution, including shuttering, reinforcement, and high-grade concrete works. Basement construction required advanced shuttering and sequencing methods, ensuring safety and stability during excavation and foundation stages. Superstructure works, masonry, plaster, flooring, and finishing were carried out with precision and coordinated with MEP systems and statutory approvals to meet commercial building standards.
G Construction also managed site logistics, labour resources, safety protocols, and scheduling to ensure smooth progress and adherence to timelines. External development such as parking access, boundary treatments, and landscaping was designed to enhance usability and visitor experience. The result is a robust commercial complex that balances strength, functionality, and modern retail requirements, making Target Mall a key business and shopping destination in Borivali (W).
